2 Day Gaming Disorder Workshop with Relationships Australia South Australia
There has been an increase in demand for workplace workshops on how to work with young people where excessive gaming was a serious problem. This workshop showcased over 6 years worth of clinical experience in an engaging and dynamic way, including role playing. On the final day, we also had a film crew from ABC’s Four Corners program to see how important this issue is in our community.
Some of the objectives the participants requested were:
-what is addiction?
-how to support children
-how to address parent’s fears and how to talk to parents
-how to deal with aggression
-risk factors for gaming disorder
