ADHD Assessment at CGI Clinic
All new ADHD assessments at CGI Clinic involve two telehealth appointments with a psychiatrist. Following the first appointment, an interim report will be sent to your GP. Where appropriate, your GP may use this report to apply for authority to prescribe ADHD medication. The first appointment is privately billed and includes an out-of-pocket expense.
First Appointment
Following the second psychiatrist appointment, a comprehensive psychiatric report will be provided to your GP to confirm the ADHD diagnosis and/or provide further recommendations. If Medicare criteria are met, the second appointment may be bulk billed at the discretion of the clinic, resulting in no out-of-pocket expense.
Please note that the number of appointments and the overall management approach may vary depending on individual clinical needs and Medicare eligibility.
